Sheriff's Deputies Investigate Suspicious Package Left At County Building

The Kendall County Health and Human Services Building was evacuated last week as a precaution after a suspicious package was found.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the county building at 811 W. John St., Yorkville, around 3 p.m. April 2, when a suspicious package was found addressed to an employee.

After an investigation, deputies determined that the package was a baseball bat allegedly left as a gift.
