A small plane crashed Friday afternoon in Newark near the Kendall County/LaSalle County border, WGN reported.
The ultralight plane, which seats one to two people, reportedly crashed near Cushing Field, located near Route 61 and County Line Road.

According to the Chicago Tribune, a flight instructor and student were hurt in the crash, but their conditions were not known Friday afternoon.
