Wheaton Drama, Inc. is proud to announce its 2015-2016 season
Wheaton Drama, Inc., a community theatre dedicated to providing high-quality, live theatre in the Chicago suburbs, is proud to announce its 2015-2016 season.
The season offers a combination of comedic and dramatic plays, as well as musicals. This season, watch for:
PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM: September 18th-October 11th, 2015

A comedy by Woody Allen about a recent divorcee who is a bit of a neurotic who is trying to restart his romantic life. He seeks advice from Bogart.
HAIRSPRAY: November 20th-December 13th, 2015

A family friendly and extremely upbeat show with great music and a great message both about having confidence in yourself and about race relations in the 1960’s.
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET: December 17th-December 20th, 2015
Enjoy the magic of the season with this Christmas classic about a little girl who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus.
RABBIT HOLE: January 29th-February 14th, 2016
The story of a family who lost their small child in a tragic accident.
QUARTET: March 18th-April 3rd, 2016
A play about four aging opera singers who live at a retirement home for performers.
THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD: May 20th-June 12th, 2016
A musical most well-known for its ending in which the audience gets to vote and select which ending they’d like to see.

Upcoming auditions for PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM will be held at 111 N. Hale Street in Wheaton, July 19 and 20 at 7:00 p.m. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held July 22. Auditions will be by appointment only and auditioners should contact the Director, Randall Knott at samwdi2015@gmail.com for an appointment time.
The director is looking for 5 actors as follows: 3M (age late 20s-early 30s, one Humphrey Bogart) & 2F (late 20s/early 30s). Auditions will be readings from the script, with a “hired” reader. All auditioners will have an excellent scene partner with which to work. Chosen sides will be made public by July 10.
