Yorkville Man Arrested on Firearms Charge: Police
Report of domestic disturbance leads to arrest.
A 33-year-old man was arrested Thursday after an alleged domestic dispute at the Hide Away Lakes Campground in Yorkville, Kendall County Sheriff’s police said.
Shane Knight, a resident of the campground at 8045 Van Emmon Rd., was arrested after deputies received a report of a domestic disturbance at about 5:45 p.m. Sept. 25.
After completing an investigation into the alleged disturbance, deputies learned Knight was in possession of a firearm, and his firearm owner’s identification (FOID) card was found to be expired.

Knight was charged with possession of a firearm and firearm ammunition without a FOID, according to a police report.
