Yorkville Man Charged with Resisting, Battering Officer

A Yorkville man was arrested Saturday after Kendall County Sheriff’s police responded to the 0-100 block of Marnel Road in unincorporated Montgomery for a report of a domestic violence incident, police said.

Eliu Alvardo, 29, of the 400 block of Washington Avenue, was arrested at 6:57 p.m. and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, domestic battery, criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer, police said.
