• Driver Dies From Gunshot Wound After Fleeing Morris Police Along Interstate 80: State Police (patch.com) — Morris police were involved in a Monday night pursuit that began on Twilight Drive in town and continued onto I-80, where the fleeing driver suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and later died. Illinois State Police are now handling the investigation, while Morris’ initial press release did not disclose the shooting or death.
