Health & Fitness

Roxi the Chihuahua mix puppy came in to our grooming salon for Puppy Practice today.

When puppies are very young, it is best to have several practice sessions before the full grooming process takes place. Practice sessions include a bath, blowdry, brushing, combing, clipping the sanitary area, cleaning the ears, trimming the nails, trimming the hair around and on the bottoms of the feet, and trimming on the face.

This little bit of Puppy Practice can really help an afraid or timid puppy overcome their fears. This will ensure that grooming will be a lifelong positive experience for them.
