12-Week-Old Puppy Stolen from Naperville Petland

The dog is implanted with a microchip and on a strict vaccination schedule.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville Petland is hoping the public will recognize the alleged thieves of a black and white Pomeranian named Bella.

According to a post on the store’s Facebook page, the dog was stolen by the couple in the photo at around 4:21 p.m. Sunday.

“The police are investigating but any help from our friends to recover Bella and bring her back would be greatly appreciated,” the store said on the page.

According to a report from WGN, the dog is implanted with a microchip and on a strict vaccination schedule.

“I was surprised at how they just took the puppy under their arm and just walked right out the front door and then started running in the parking lot,” store owner Carl Swanson told WGN.

The puppy is only 12 weeks old.
