2 Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Naperville: Cops

NAPERVILLE, IL — A woman and her ex-husband were found dead after an apparent murder-suicide in a home on Crabapple Court in Naperville Tuesday.

Police say they were called to an apartment in the 1300 block of Crabapple Court for a domestic incident around 7:30 a.m. Police say they set up a perimeter around the home and tried to contact those inside before members of the Naperville Special Response Team went into the apartment.

A woman was found with a gunshot wound and taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A Michigan man who was identified as the woman's ex-husband, was later found dead inside the apartment from a gunshot wound that appeared to be self-inflicted, police say.
