"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" Opens Friday!

Summer Place Theatre's lively cast has been working hard to give audiences a rollicking evening of entertainment!

The Summer Place, Naperville's community theatre since 1966, opens it's season with "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" on Friday, June 16 for two weekends.

This Tony award-winning musical invites audience members and special celebrity guests onstage to participate in the hallowed middle school tradition of spelling complicated words while trying to suppress thoughts of cute classmates, family drama and self-doubt.

The Opening Night show features Nicki Anderson, Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, as one of the guest spellers.
