35 Burglaries Reported To Unlocked Cars In Naperville
Police say all of the burglarized cars had been left unlocked.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles, following a string of dozens of burglaries that took place in the city. Police say they had received a total of 35 burglary reports at the start of the week of June 25 and that 100% of those vehicles had been left unlocked.
As a result, police issued an advisory to residents to keep their vehicles locked and their valuables out of sight.
This rash of burglaries follows a trend police are investigating in suburbs near Naperville. In March, Glen Ellyn Police reported that 90% of burglaries had been committed on unlocked cars.
