4 Injured In Serious Crash At Hobson, Wehrli Roads In Naperville

Police say a Naperville woman, 66, sustained life-threatening injuries.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A 66-year-old Naperville woman sustained life-threatening injuries and three other people were hospitalized after a crash that took place near the intersection of Wehrli and Hobson Roads in Naperville Tuesday afternoon. Police say the woman and two passengers were heading north on Wehrli in a 2019 Subaru Forester when they ran a red light and hit a 2019 Subaru Outback driven by a 21-year-old Streamwood man.

According to police, the woman was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her two passengers, along with a passenger in the man's Subaru Outback, were also rushed to a hospital.

The crash closed the intersection of Wehrli and Hobson for about three hours as the Naperville Traffic Unit worked to reconstruct the crash.
