50 Spectator Vehicles Scatter as Police Bust Street Race
Police are unsure how the spectators got word of the race.

NAPERVILLE, IL — In what sounds like something straight from a “Fast and the Furious” movie, two alleged street racers were arrested after police broke up a race that was attended by 50 vehicles.
Naperville Police Commander Jason Arres told the Chicago Tribune that “approximately 50 vehicles scattered" after police arrived in the area of Shore and Frontenac Road shortly after midnight Sunday.
Connor J. Graham, 21, of the 7N400 block of Stevens Glen Road near St. Charles, and Russell S. Kacher, 20, of the 700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. in Aurora, were arrested and charged with street racing and driving more than 35 mph over the speed limit, according to the Tribune. Graham received additional charges of driving in the wrong lane of traffic and having either no muffler or a defective one.
