As part of its 2019 summer tour, the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest will perform a free concert at the Millennium Carillon at 443 Aurora Ave. at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1. The Naperville Park District is pleased to host this evening of patriotic music to begin the July 4th celebration. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring chairs or blankets for the lawn seating at Rotary Hill.

Stationed at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, Illinois, these musicians travel extensively, representing the United States Air Force and performing for both military and civilian audiences, including dignitaries from the United States and beyond. The band’s repertoire includes symphonic pieces, marches, patriotic and popular selections.

“It’s an honor to be able to welcome the Air National Guard Band to Naperville to kick off the week of July 4th,” said Executive Director Ray McGury. “Rotary Hill is a great setting for this concert, as it has become a gathering place for the community to celebrate patriotic occasions and to pay tribute to those who serve and have served our country.”
