ALIVE Rescue Receives $36,000 from Kenway Consulting Golf Outing

ALIVE Rescue, an animal rescue that saves, rehabilitates and places abandoned, abused and stray animals, is proud to announce that it received $36,000 as a result of fundraising efforts conducted during the Kenway Consulting 2018 Charity Golf Outing. ALIVE Rescue has been the beneficiary of Kenway’s annual fundraising event for the past three years, during which time the company has raised more than $100,000 for the local non-profit.

“ALIVE Rescue has set a lofty goal of saving 300 lives in 2018,” said Kristen Gerali, ALIVE Rescue’s founder and president. “Many of the animals we bring into our rescue are major medical cases that require a lot of care. Kenway’s extremely generous donation will help us reach that goal, and change the lives of so many cats, dogs and rabbits. We are so grateful.”

Kenway’s 9th annual event was held on Saturday, September 8 at Naperville’s Tamarack Golf Club. In addition to the day’s signature scramble, festivities included breakfast; lunch; a live raffle with $12,500 in cash prizes and merchandise ranging from hotel stays and sporting event tickets, to restaurant and spa gift certificates; and a back-by-popular-demand Puppy Kissing Booth, featuring some of ALIVE Rescue’s adoptable pups.
