Fatima Ali, MD, medical director, women's services at Linden Oaks at Edward and a psychiatrist with DuPage Mental Health Services, was recently honored with Sierra Tucson's Compassion Recognition Award. Sierra Tucson, located in Tucson, AZ, is an international leader in the treatment of mental/behavioral health disorders, addictions and pain management. Dr. Ali was recognized at Sierra Tucson's "Gratitude for Giving" Breakfast on November 19 in Chicago.
Dr. Ali is Board Certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Illinois Psychiatric Society. She specializes in women's emotional disorders, including postpartum depression, premenstrual dysfunction, menopausal syndrome and eating disorders, and also treats seasonal affective disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression.
