Annual SHARE "A Walk to Remember" held in downtown Naperville

Mike and Michelle Gargiulo, of Plainfield, with seven-month old Mark, lead "A Walk to Remember" in memory of their daughter, Haley Grace.

More than 700 people took part in Naperville’s 11th Annual “A Walk to Remember” on Saturday, October 10 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion in downtown Naperville. The event featured a memorial service in which the names of more than 200 babies were read, followed by a two-mile walk. Proceeds support the Edward Foundation’s SHARE Program – a group for those who have experienced pregnancy loss and infant death, counseling services, bereavement training and education, memory boxes and mementos to recognize a lost child, and additions and upkeep to the Wings of Hope Angel Garden at Edward Hospital, an outdoor space that was designed to remember deceased children.
