Anti-Abortion Activists To Picket Naperville, Aurora

Their signs will depict aborted fetuses as well as fetuses in development in an attempt to evoke an emotional response.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Starting Friday, anti-abortion activists will begin a campaign of picketing street corners in the Chicago area, including those in Naperville and Aurora. The series of protests will last from July 7 to 15.

The Pro-Life Action League, the organization running the protests, calls the campaign the "Face the Truth" tour. They plan to picket at busy intersections where volunteers will "hold large signs featuring carefully selected images of abortion victims, with captions designed to evoke sympathy from passersby."

The images on the signs depict human fetuses in various stages of development, with phrases like "life is beautiful at 7 weeks," and "she'll never learn to walk." They will also display photos of aborted fetuses.
