Armed Robbers Steal Cell Phones, Personal Items from People in Naperville Store: Police

The robbers fled the scene before police arrived.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police are looking for two people involved in an armed robbery Sunday at a store in the 2800 block of south Route 59 in Naperville.

According to preliminary information, a black woman and black man entered the store at around 2:06 p.m., displayed a weapon and stole cell phones as well as other personal items from the victims, Naperville Police Cmdr. Jason Arres said. No one was injured, but the perpetrators fled before police arrived.

The man is approximately 5’ 5”, 130 pounds and was wearing a mask. The woman is approximately 5’ 5” and 110 pounds.
