Armed Robbery Attempt Under Investigation In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place early Saturday. Police say the victim was walking near the intersection of Bauer Road and Briergate Drive when the suspect came up to them and showed a handgun.

The victim told police that the suspect got into a maroon Cadillac with tinted windows and spoked wheels and fled the scene. A black sedan that was at the scene reportedly left when the Cadillac did, police say.
