Armed Robbery Reported At Motel In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police in Naperville are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a motel located at 1617 Naperville-Wheaton Rd. early Sunday. According to police, two men and a woman got into the motel room just before 4:30 a.m. and hit a woman over the head before robbing her at gunpoint.

In a news release, police said the woman knew one of the two men, according to a preliminary investigation. Both men were taken into custody, but police say they are still seeking the female suspect.

She is described as a white woman between 18 and 22 years old, standing five feet, six inches tall with a thin build and pink eyelashes.

Police say the victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
