Armed Robbery Under Investigation In 700 Block Of Royal St George

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are investigating an armed robbery in the 700 block of Royal St. George Drive that took place Wednesday. The victim told police they were meeting someone from Facebook to record a music video, but were robbed at gunpoint by a suspect in a surgical mask.

According to police, the suspect displayed a semi-automatic weapon and stole audio-visual equipment, a cellphone and cash from the victim. Police say two suspect vehicles then fled east on Ogden Avenue.

Early Saturday, a man was robbed by force in the 200 block of East Bailey Road, according to an earlier update from the Naperville Police Department.
