NAPERVILLE, IL -- Two Naperville residents were displaced from their home Friday after a fire broke out in the attic. The fire started just after 3:30 p.m. in a townhome in the 1000 block of Katherine Avenue, according to Naperville Fire Department Bureau Chief Scott Salela.

Fire officials say they used a hose line to contain the flames to the attic. The fire reportedly remained confined to the attic area and did spread to other parts of the building.

In a press release, Salela said the fire was brought under control by 4 p.m. No civilians or firefighters were injured in the blaze.
