Bible study at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church resumes Sept. 5

Now is the perfect time to commit to growing in love and knowledge of the Bible, the very word of God. What does God’s word mean in today’s world … and in your life? How can ancient texts be relevant and speak to us in the 21st century?

Explore answers to these questions – and others – through weekly Bible study and prayer, beginning the first week of September and concluding in May 2024, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville. Daytime sessions will be held at the church while evening sessions will be available only via Zoom connection.

The Bible study schedule is:

Wednesday Sessions at St. Thomas Church

“Angels” will be discussed from 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesdays, Sept 6 – Oct.18, followed by a one-week break.

“Genesis: Back to the Beginning” will be studied from 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 1 – May 15, 2024.

Thursday Morning Sessions at St. Thomas Church

“The Gospel of Matthew: Thy Kingdom Come” will be discussed from 9:15 – 11:15 a.m. Thursdays, Sept 7 – May 30, 2024.

Thursday Evening Sessions via Zoom connection

Evening sessions studying Matthew’s Gospel will meet via Zoom from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Sept 7 – May 30, 2024.

Study guides will be available for a nominal fee.
