Max’s Mission is pleased to announce our 1st annual Survivor Day Butterfly Release on Saturday, June 13th, from 10am to 12 pm at the Peg Bond Center, 151 N. Island Avenue in Batavia.
Join Max’s Mission for a meaningful morning of remembrance, connection, and hope. This special gathering offers a space to honor our loved ones lost to suicide and to be surrounded by a community that understands.
The morning will include a brief reflection from grief therapist Priscilla Brinkman, an opportunity for attendees to say the name of their loved one out loud, and a butterfly release along the river as a symbol of remembrance and love. Guests are also invited to participate in rock painting, creating something personal to take with them or leave behind.
