"Camelot" Musical Opens Friday
The classic tale of King Arthur, his Knights of the Round Table and the romance of Guenevere and Lancelot takes the stage this weekend.
There are only six performances: Friday, July 31 at 7:30pm; Saturday, August 1 at 7:30pm; Sunday, August 2 at 3:00pm and Friday, August 7 at 7:30pm; Saturday, August 8 at 7:30pm; Sunday, August 9 at 3:00pm. Shows are held in the Naperville Central High School Auditorium, 440 Aurora Ave. The Auditorium and parking is off of West Street.
It’s the last show of the season and you won’t want to miss ”Camelot!” This Lerner and Loewe musical features gorgeous songs like ”Before I Gaze at You Again” and ”If Ever I Would Leave You,” originally performed on Broadway by Julie Andrews and Robert Goulet.
Andrews and Goulet weren’t available, but The Summer Place, Naperville’s oldest community theater, is delighted to feature a gifted cast of your neighbors including music professionals, opera singers, talented students and even a Chicago Suburb’s Got Talent finalist.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for students & seniors, and $10 for children age 5-12. Group discounts are also available.
