Carol Stream Man Charged With Armed Robbery Of Naperville Store

The Carol Stream man is allegedly one of three who robbed the store at gunpoint.

NAPERVILLE, IL --- A Carol Stream teen has been charged with the armed robbery of a Naperville gas station. Robert Hill, 19 of the 700 block of Bluff Street faces felony counts of armed robbery and aggravated robbery.

Hill and two accomplices allegedly robbed a Naperville Speedway gas station at gunpoint on October 15, 2017. Police say the men came into the gas station wearing masks and struck the cashier on the back of the head with a handgun.

The suspects are then accused of locking the employee inside the gas station and taking some store money along with the clerk's personal iPhone.

After an investigation, police located Hill and took him into custody Tuesday. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.

Hill is set to appear in court again on June 25.
