Che Figata To Open In Naperville This Spring

The restaurant will serve up homemade pasta, artisanal pizza, imported wine, and more.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents will have a new place to savor authentic Italian cuisine when Che Figata opens its doors in spring. The restaurant, which uses sustainably sourced ingredients to craft homemade pastas, artisanal pizza, and wood-grilled entrees, will also feature a European-inspired market for diners who want to pick up some Italian morsels and wine to enjoy at home.

Experienced Chef Mark Grimes will put a modern twist on traditional Italian fare will perfect Roman-style pies in a wood-fired pizza oven and use his special recipes to whip up fresh batches of house-made gelato daily. Diners can enjoy a glass of imported wine after their meal or indulge in an aperitif of made with barrel-aged liquor. Limoncellos will also be a big item on the extensive drink menu, according to a press release from Che Figata.

Grimes said the restaurant and market will embrace "all things Italian." In the press release, Grimes says, “Che Figata stands apart from other Italian restaurants because of our commitment to the culture and the healthy aspects of the Mediterranean diet,
