Chesterbrook Academy Donates Food and Gifts for Local Families

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on South Naper Boulevard in Naperville recently held donation drives in support of MorningStar Mission, an organization based in Joliet. In November, students held a food drive and collected 200 food items for the organization to help provide Thanksgiving meals for community members in need. Following the food drive, students collected gifts to fulfill the holiday wishes of nine local children and donated 130 gifts in total. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

Since 1909, MorningStar Mission has served men, women, children and entire families in Joliet and Will County, offering hope for the hurting through one-time meals and long-term recovery programs. For more information, visit www.morningstarmission.org.
