Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Students Donate Gifts to Seniors

The schools partnered with the Well Wishes Project to donate 200 gifts to residents at John F. Kennedy Terrace in Joilet

Students from Chesterbrook Academy Preschools on Oswego Road and in Tall Grass in Naperville, as well as in Plainfield and Shorewood recently donated gifts to 200 senior citizens from John F. Kennedy Terrace in Joliet through the Well Wishes Project. Students spent several weeks collecting gifts for the residents, including hats, scarves, puzzles, slippers and toiletries. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving to those in need, especially during the holiday season.

The Well Wishes Project partners with area groups, missions and food pantries that help provide basic needs, such as food and clothing, and also provides gifts for birthdays, holidays, and more.
