Chesterbrook Academy Students Hold Pajama and Book Drives

Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Naperville and Westmont partnered to hold pajama and book drives in support of the Pajama Program

Students at four Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Naperville and Westmont recently partnered together to hold pajama and book drives for the Pajama Program. Collectively, the schools donated more than 66 pairs of pajamas and 109 books. The donations will be distributed to local children in need. To celebrate the pajama drive’s success, students and staff wore their pajamas to school. Throughout this initiative, students learned the importance of helping children in their community.

Pajama Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2001 that believes that every child, no matter their circumstances, has the inherent right to a loving good night, complete with the comforting bedtime ritual of changing into new, clean pajamas and enjoying an enchanting story. Pajama Program offers at-risk children the unconditional, magical gifts of pajamas and books so that they can enjoy the greatest benefit of a loving bedtime and peaceful good night: a fulfilling good day.
