The Story Behind Naperville's Super Dad

I hope you’re doing well!

I wanted to reach out because I am currently competing in Colossal’s Super Dad competition, a nationwide campaign raising funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network.

As a loving father to 2 children, I’m passionate about children and their well being and I run a non profit - www.mauryakoduri.org Through this competition, I have the opportunity to win $25,000 and a National TV commercial. This experience has been incredibly meaningful because it creates a huge community impact and is allowing me to navigate unique challenges in fundraising while reaching out to the community. If I win, I will be donating 100% of the $25,000 towards the SPG research. As a father, nothing matters more than finding a cure for my 14-year-old son, who lives with SPG4, an ultra-rare neurodegenerative disease with no known cure. We established our foundation (www.mauryakoduri.org) to support scientists advancing life-changing gene therapy and therapeutic research.
