Counterfeit Bill Suspects Sought By Naperville Police
Police say these women tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill to buy a $9 item.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are asking the public for help in identifying two women who are accused of trying to use a counterfeit $100 bill to buy an item. Police say the incident took place on Friday, August 27, in the 1200 block of Rickert.
The women allegedly presented the fraudulent $100 bill to purchase a $9 item at a store at around 8:30 p.m. The store employee told police they recognized that the bill was counterfeit and did not accept it. The women then allegedly fled in a dark Honda sedan.
