Country Curtains Hosts Event Benefiting Project Linus

"Merry & Bright" is an event to collect new homemade blankets for Project Linus DuPage on 12/4 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

“Merry & Bright” is an event to collect new homemade blankets for Project Linus DuPage on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  The event will take place at the Country Curtains retail shop at 233 S. Main Street, downtown Naperville.  Participants who bring and donate a new homemade blanket earn extra chances to win prizes and all blankets will be distributed to area hospitals by Project Linus DuPage.  Country Curtains will offer 20% off all hostess gifts and local Girl Scouts will provide complimentary gift wrapping.

Project Linus is a national non-profit organization that operates on the kindness of people in local communities who donate new homemade blankets.  Blankets are collect and distributed to children from newborn to 18 years of age to are in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, etc.  The loca chapter is based in DuPage County and will accept the blankets donated during “Merry and Bright”.
