NAPERVILLE, IL — A 42-year-old Chicago man sustained life-threatening injuries and two other people were hurt after a crash involving a Freightliner truck and a Dodge Charger on Route 59 in Naperville Tuesday afternoon.
Police and firefighters were called to Route 59 and Platinum Avenue just before 1:10 p.m. to respond to the crash. The Freightliner's driver, along with a passenger from the Charger, were taken to local hospitals with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Naperville police said in a news release Tuesday afternoon.
