'Mom's Essentials' Diaper Drive To Benefit West Suburban Pantry

The May 13 donation drive is seeking diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, feminine hygiene products and other items.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Sunrise Rotary is planning a diaper and "Mom's Essentials" donation drive for May 13 to benefit West Suburban Community Pantry. The drive-up donation event will be held at the Naperville Park District building at 320 W. Jackson Ave., Naperville.

The following items are needed at this donation drive:

  • Diapers (most needed are sizes four, five and six)
  • Baby formula or coupons for formula
  • Baby wipes
  • Diaper ointments and creams
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Pull-Ups

“As essential as they are, diapers, baby wipes and personal products cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits,” Deb Newman, public relations chair for Sunrise Rotary, said in a statement.

Newman added, “Sunrise Rotary is dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in our community. This is a great opportunity to help moms in need take care of their children and themselves.”

Volunteers will be on hand during the drive to pick up donations curbside. Residents can also drop off donations at West Suburban Community, 6809 Hobson Valley Dr., Woodridge, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
