Donate Children’s Items on Jan. 21 at Fort Hill Activity Center

Naperville Park District is partnering with Cradles to Crayons to host collection on Martin Luther King Day

Naperville Park District’s Fort Hill Activity Center is partnering with a Chicago nonprofit, Cradles to Crayons, to host a donation drive on Jan. 21—Martin Luther King Day—to benefit children who are homeless or living in low-income situations.

The community is invited to bring new or gently used winter coats and warm clothing (sizes newborn to adult medium), winter boots (sizes newborn to adult size 10), toys and books (ages 0-12) to Fort Hill Activity Center on Monday, Jan. 21 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. These items will be collected and distributed to those in need at no charge by Cradles to Crayons. Fort Hill Activity Center is located at 20 Fort Hill Drive in Naperville. Visitors to Fort Hill Activity Center do not need to have a membership to enter the facility; memberships and daily fees apply only to use of specific areas, such as the fitness center or gymnasium.
