Edward Cancer Center completes $2 million expansion, renovation

Due, in part, to funds raised through the Edward Foundation’s “Campaign Against Cancer,” the Edward Cancer Center has expanded and renovated space for patients at its location on the Edward Hospital campus in Naperville.

The $2 million project resulted in more infusion bays and exam rooms, and a larger, brighter waiting area. The renovations and improvements were necessary because of the growing demand for cancer services since the facility opened in 2005.

The updated space also includes a “Tribute to Hope” wall on which donors can offer words of inspiration, encouragement and support to those going through cancer treatment.
