Edward earns “A” in Leapfrog Fall 2019 Hospital Safety Grades

It's the third straight A for Edward, which has registered A's in eight of the last 12 Hospital Safety Grades dating back to 2014.

Edward Hospital in Naperville earned an A in The Leapfrog Group’s Fall 2019 Hospital Safety Grades. It’s the third straight A for Edward (Spring 2019, Fall 2018), which has registered A’s in eight of the last 12 Hospital Safety Grades dating back to Spring 2014. The Leapfrog Group is a national organization committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers. Leapfrog uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D or F grade twice a year to 2,600 acute-care hospitals across the country based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harms among patients in their care.

Edward Hospital was also named a Top General Hospital by The Leapfrog Group in 2017. In addition, Edward-Elmhurst Health, which includes Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, has been recognized as one of the nation’s 15 Top Health Systems by IBM Watson Health.
