Edward Hospital NICU reunion planned for Oct. 28
Registration for this free event is required by October 21, 2018.

The Edward Foundation, in conjunction with the Edward NICU staff and DuPage Neonatology Associates, is hosting a reunion for families whose babies were cared for in Edward Hospital’s Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The reunion celebrates each child’s progress, enables parents to meet other NICU families, and gives the staff the opportunity to see many of the babies they have cared for.
Registration for this free event is required by October 21, 2018. This event is limited to those families who have had babies in Edward’s NICU. Light refreshments will be served and dress is casual.
This year’s reunion is made possible in part by a grant from the Edward Foundation NICU Reunion Fund, and by gifts from DuPage Neonatology Associates and other committed community donors.

Edward Hospital’s Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is equipped to treat the sickest and most fragile newborns of all gestational ages, including those with a variety of congenital and surgical conditions.
Edward's Level III NICU is the largest in DuPage County and cares for about 400 babies a year, a number which increases every year. The hospital was also the first in the region to offer private rooms.
Each of our private NICU rooms provides parents with space and comfort, and is equipped with the latest technology, so our team of specially trained neonatologists and nurses can closely monitor your newborn. In August 2017, 13 additional private rooms were added to the NICU increasing its capacity to 35 private rooms.
The Edward NICU staff includes 80 nurses, 16 neonatologists, a pediatric pharmacist, dietitian, physical, occupational and speech therapists, a dedicated social work and case manager, and numerous pediatric subspecialists.
This year’s reunion is made possible in part by a grant from the Edward Foundation NICU Reunion Fund, and by gifts from DuPage Neonatology Associates and other committed community donors.
