AURORA, IL — A former Metea Valley teacher has been sentenced to nine years in prison after he sexually assaulted a teen student at the school in 2019. Ex-choir teacher Nathan Bramstedt, 43, of Oswego, pleaded guilty Friday to charges of criminal sexual assault in a position of trust or authority, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
