“Exercise for Bone Health” May 28 at Fort Hill Activity Center
Personal trainer Colin Laughlin will discuss ideal fitness programs for bone and joint health

Next in the Wellness Series at Fort Hill Activity Center is “Exercise for Bone Health,” an educational presentation by personal trainer Colin Laughlin on Tuesday, May 28 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
This seminar will focus on the role of exercise in both prevention and treatment of bone and joint diseases and conditions, such as osteoporosis, arthritis, and chronic back pain. Those currently suffering from these conditions and people who are at risk for developing them will benefit from attending this presentation.
Topics will include strength training, mobility training and nutritional considerations. Colin has a degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Colin also holds certifications in Exercise is Medicine (EIM) and USA Weightlifting (USAW).

“People are becoming more aware of the benefits of exercise, not just from an aesthetics standpoint, but also for internal health,” said Colin. “I am excited to help people improve their quality of life through exercise.”
This seminar is free to Fort Hill Fitness members and $5 for nonmembers. Each attendee must register through the Naperville Park District. Fitness members must register in person at Fort Hill Activity Center or call 630-995-8900. Nonmembers may register online at www.napervilleparks.org.
