Fat Rosie's Debuts New Location In Downtown Naperville
The eatery recently moved into a bigger space at 22 E. Chicago Ave. and reopened on Dec. 15.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Fat Rosie's recently debuted its new location in downtown Naperville. The eatery, which had been located on the other side of Chicago Avenue, reopened Dec. 15 in a 8,500 square foot space, according to the Downtown Naperville Alliance.
The restaurant is still decked out in colorful accents and Mexican-inspired art and decor, but the bigger space also includes a seafood bar. This has expanded Fat Rosie's menu to include items such as oysters, ceviche, shrimp and salmon entrees and more.
“Naperville has always been a special place to me, opening my second restaurant here nearly 30 years ago,” Scott Harris, Founder and CEO of Scott Harris Hospitality, which operates Fat Rosie's told the Downtown Naperville Alliance.

He added, "We introduced an authentic and fun Mexican experience to the community with Fat Rosie’s four years ago, and we have loved every minute of it. We’re excited for Fat Rosie’s to be in a bigger location, so we can have even more fun."
The ribbon-cutting event for the new Fat Rosie's location at 22 E. Chicago Ave. is slated for Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. Diners can enjoy live entertainment, specials and more after the ribbon cutting, as the restaurant will also host its Grand Opening Fiesta.
