Fire Leaves Home Uninhabitable In Naperville
The fire broke out a day after lightning struck another home in Naperville.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville home was left uninhabitable after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon. The blaze was reported by a neighbor who saw black smoke and flames coming from the two-story home just before noon.
Crews arrived at the scene in the 5S600 block of N. Wright St. to find fire issuing from a first floor window. As firefighters battled the blaze, search efforts began to see if anyone was inside the home.
No residents were home at the time of the fire, according to a press release. The fire was put out within 20 minutes.

Police say no residents or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
