The fire damaged a third-floor unit and the roof of the building, officials say.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire broke out in a multi-unit residence in Naperville Friday, leaving one of the homes inside uninhabitable. Firefighters responded to a call of a fire in the 1300 block of East Chicago Rd. at approximately 12:34 p.m., according to a news release from Naperville Fire Department Division Chief Amy Scheller.
