Forest Preserve Asks Public's Opinion On Historic Barn's Future
The public will have a chance to see the beautiful barn up close and tell officials when they want to see happen with it next.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is inviting residents to take a walk through the historic Green Farm barn at Greene Valley Forest Preserve, offering a chance to give input on its future. The forest preserve district is moderating a public forum at the open house for community members.
The open house will be Saturday, June 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the barn, which is in the southeast corner of Green and Hobson roads in Naperville.
“It is a beautiful and historic place,” said Forest Preserve District of DuPage County President Joe Cantore, the district said. “I am interested to hear from the community about their ideas for the potential use of the barn and how it could complement the mission of the District.”
