At its September 12 meeting, the Naperville Park District board of commissioners recognized Pat Fuller, a Silver Sneakers member at Fort Hill Fitness, for being one of ten finalists for the 2019 SilverSneakers Swanson Award.

Pat was nominated for the award by the Fort Hill Fitness staff for her enthusiasm for many fitness activities and her encouragement of others toward a healthy lifestyle. The national winner was determined by online voting, and although Pat did not win first place in the voting, the park board wanted to honor her for being selected as one of only ten national finalists.

President Rich Janor presented a certificate to Pat which read, “The Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners and Executive Director are pleased to recognize Pat Fuller for the exceptional example she sets for her fellow Fort Hill Fitness members and for being an inspiration for the nationally-acclaimed SilverSneakers program.”
