Free American Legion Summer Camps for Incoming High School Seniors!

American Legion Post 43 in Naperville is thrilled to announce that participation in its 2025 Illinois Premier Boys State and Illini Girls State programs is completely free! Local high school juniors are invited to seize this unique opportunity for personal growth, civic engagement, and an unforgettable, fun, and rewarding experience.

Illinois Premier Boys State and Illini Girls State are programs that prepare students to become tomorrow's leaders. Through activities such as mock government sessions and civic education workshops, participants gain invaluable leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and a deeper understanding of democracy in action – all in a non-partisan manner!

Scholarship Opportunities and More In addition to being free to attend, these programs offer opportunities to exclusive scholarships, giving students a chance to further their academic goals while standing out in their college applications.

Eligibility and Registration Students must be entering their senior year of high school this fall to participate. The programs are ideal for motivated young individuals eager to make a difference in their communities and the world.
