Free Screening of 'My Sister Liv' Documentary
An honest look into the reality of current teen mental health crisis.

Max's Mission and KidsMatter, two local Naperville non-profit organizations, are sponsoring a free screening and discussion of 'My Sister Liv' on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The screening will take place in the auditorium of Metea Valley High School, 1801 N. Eola Rd, Aurora from 7-8:30pm.
This powerful documentary, produced by Academy award winner Paula DuPre Pesmen (producer of 3 of the Harry Potter movies) reveals the struggles of teenage mental health and the aftermath for survivors left behind in suicide. A Q&A panel of local mental health therapists, following the film, will answer questions and encourage people to have open & fearless conversations about their mental health. Resource tables and therapy dogs will also be on hand.
Research shows that talking about suicide reduces suicidal ideation-lets take this conversation out of the shadows. Appropriate for ages 14+
