George Floyd Rally Planned At Cantore Park In Naperville
The "Naperville Demands Police Accountability" rally will be held at Sunday at Cantore Park, which was recently the site of racist graffiti.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A rally is planned at Cantore Park in Naperville Sunday to protest the death of George Floyd. The Naperville Demands Police Accountability rally, which will feature public speakers from the Black Panthers and Root2Fruit Youth Foundation, will be held at 1 p.m.
In the Naperville Demands Police Accountability event description, organizers wrote, "We hope to not only create awareness, but also put pressure on the FBI and the Minneapolis DA to bring charges against the other three officers involved in George's death."

Protesters who attend the rally, which was described as a "kid- and family-friendly gathering," are encouraged to wear all black "in solidarity." Organizers added that "[a]bsolutely no violence will be tolerated."
Cantore Park is the site where the phrase"white pride" and gang-related symbols were found spray painted on a partition on May 25.
